About EBS

EBS Management plc (EBS) has built its reputation in the market place for solving clients' problems rather than establishing a pre-determined path for all pension schemes.

EBS was established more than thirty years ago by Dryden Gilling-Smith. Dryden appreciated that clients were slightly disillusioned with the traditional style of pension investment and that clients had a requirement to manage their own pension funds. This resulted in EBS being one of the first companies to offer Small Self-Administered Schemes (SSAS). EBS's oldest SSAS still in existence was established in June 1976. To date we have established over 1,300 SSASs.

Realising there was an increase in demand for self-invested personal pensions (SIPP), EBS developed and launched its own SIPP in December 1996.

Our client base has been built up through introductions from all sorts of professional advisers who have found that we can enhance the service they themselves provide to clients.

Following the purchase of EBS by Charles Stanley plc, this ideology has been maintained, with investment from Charles Stanley into EBS to enable it to become a market leader in SIPP and SSAS consultancy and SIPP administration.
